My Approach

At A Balanced Approach Counselling, I focus on a holistic and client-centered philosophy that prioritizes your unique experiences and needs. My integrated approach combines various methods to create a personalized experience.

 

I recognise that our relationships and environments significantly impact our emotional well-being. By using emotion-focused techniques, I help you become more aware of your feelings and their effects on your life. I believe that positive change is possible for everyone.

 

My role is to support and empower you on your journey of self-discovery and growth. Together, we will explore your thoughts and emotions, uncover patterns that may hold you back, and develop strategies for resilience and fulfillment. I'm here to walk alongside you every step of the way.

My Name is Cheralee King

I am a Register Clinical  Counsellor, having obtained a Bachelor Degree in Counselling at The University of Notre Dame Australia.

I have a Graduate Diploma in Family and Relationship Therapy, from 

 William Street Family Therapy Training Centre. 

I am registered with

Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA) and Australian Association of Family Therapy (AAFT)

I have also completed Level 1 and 2 in EMDR therapy
